Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actor from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic home. Jacqueline's parents are Malaysian as well as Sri Lankan. Her father Elroy Fernandez is from Sri Lanka. There are two older brothers, and two younger ones. It was because of the civil war in Sri Lanka that the family made the decision to relocate to Bahrain. The schooling she completed was at Bahrain and she won a Scholarship for at the University of Sydney. There she graduated with a Media and Communications degree. With a love of different cultures and languages, she was a part of the Berlitz school of languages which is where she began to learn Spanish and improve her French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed for Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she was awarded the title in 2006. After winning Miss Sri Lanka title in 2006, she entered the world of TV and hosted a program that was a business show in Sri Lanka known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone is the daughter of badminton star Prakash Padukone. She was raised in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. She played badminton at the national championships as an teen, but she gave her sports career up to pursue a career as a model. Padukone is of Mangalorean heritage, and her mother tongue is Konkani. Padukone is a village located situated in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi located in Karnataka State in India, is where her ancestry is derived from. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international badminton player who has retired. Her mom is a travel agent.
